Evolution is a gradual evolution. Peacefully and naturally develop under the natural surroundings. Contradictions, as part of an evolutionary development are kept available for short-term revolutionary leap in the ongoing evolutionary development. Evidence of this fact gives us a natural environment, which is known from textbooks - air, water, soil, flora and fauna, which we are intimately familiar.
Animals have to be a book of wisdom for us to survive on planet Earth. Unforced and natural evolution is not obvious.
